Chris Brooks STEAM Committee Chair Donations To Students Formal & Sneakers Dance
It is with great pleasure that I present a contribution in the amount of $5,000 from my company, AMETEK Inc. AMETEK is a leading global manufacturer of electronic instruments and electro-mechanical devices with over 18,000 employees worldwide. The mission of the AMETEK Foundation, AMETEK's charitable arm, is to invest in education (including STEM), health and welfare, civic and social programs. The Board of Directors for the AMETEK Foundation supported my request for investment in computer equipment and related technology for the newly renovated student programs lab. The Thurgood Marshall Center Trust student lab will support the STEAM initiatives as part of the student programs and will elevate the skills, exposure and experiences of high school students.
I am elated that the AMETEK Foundation's mission of investing in STEM related initiatives partners well with the Thurgood Marshall Center Trust to help advance the mission of the TMCT student programs "To be the Beacon for Superior Student Development in communities across America by expanding access and opportunity from Cradle to Career."
